In pain

Hi everyone
Today I had an appointment with a physiotherapist, after going back and forth to my GP for the past 6/7 months with various symptoms.
My main symptoms are;
Back pain
Rib pain
Leg pain
Hip pain
There's also other symptoms such as fatigue, sleep problems, vision problems, skin irritation, muscle spasms etc.
The physiotherapist was really rough with me despite me trying to explain how much pain I'm in. I could've cried when she applied what felt like her whole body weight onto my back. She was digging her hands right into my ribs too. At the time it was painful enough, but now I feel awful. My whole body is hurting it feels like I'm bruised all over. She has sent me for full blood tests, and I have another appointment with her in 2 weeks time. She mentioned that she would maybe transfer me to a rheumatologist, depending on the blood test results. She also mentioned rheumatoid arthritis, but said it is unlikely because of my age (I'm 25). I don't really know much about the condition.
I'm just feeling really down and I'm apprehensive about going back due to how much it hurt, but at the same time I want to know what is wrong with me.

sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with the phsysio. In my experience, and what I have learnt about this condition, namely Fibromyalgia, the phsysio is not the way forward. your symptoms do sound like Fibro, and many people seem to have this diagnosed by a rheumotologist. It is a process of elimination to diagnose, and I don't think being pulled around by a physio is of any help. Wish you well.
Take care, Anne

i had it for a very tight back due to an injury broke 3 ribs they heeled but the muscles stayed in spsam . so i chose to have it done , with my alternate praactinior , it hurt like hell but he allowed me to swear, all thru because he knew it was going to hurt
it was kind of pian pleasure ,when he was finished i thought i would be in pain for ever but awarm bath eased it and two days later i had really felt better and looser. but he really did understand the body .
i dont know what she is on about RA and your age my daughter devoped it at 26
my gran had it all her adult life. . stop going hun she will do you more harm then good . trust me .you cant treat someone with fibro because i think thats proberly what you have if the test for RA come back ok .
get some magneisum flakes to use in the bath and use the magneisum oil topicaly for pain . find a good reflexolgist i was at my best when i was seeing one weekly they keep you balanced . mines retired.
and living in a small town cant find another. so i use an acupunturist instead still good but not as good as the reflexolgy . dont give in to the pain and stiffness hun keep moving even if its not easy other wise you will stiffen up really bad but it has to be slow and steady .
PLEASE dont go back to her you dont have to she should have never treated you so rough before knowing whats wrong with you. .
you will be very sore hun now for sevral days proerly have a headache to .
if you have any thing that you can rub on for warmth a pain gel or lotion use it might help .you will feel like you have been beaten with a baseball bat .
but it will pass but will take a good few days .
i went dancing and enjoyed my self so much i went mad dancing for hour or so when i got home i couldnt move i was in agony for days , we make to much lactic acid in our muscles unlike others who will get rid of this in a few hours we take days and the pain wont go till the lactic acid has dispersed .
hang in there ,and dont put yourself thru it again ,
when you feel better look up the pain points for fibro see if you have the required amount for fibro diognoses . and please do not go thru this ago ,its so wrong for fibro .

I found your comment about lactic acid interesting. If I overdo it (like dancing or something) I do feel as if my muscles have been poisoned. I guess that is the lactic acid - I haven't heard that before. Do you know of anything we can do to help it to disperse more quickly? I do use magnesium oil, supplements etc
Don't let it stop you dancing sometimes though! We need to do these things.

To all who are suffering, I really hope you find some relief.
Still feeling really sore today, didn't sleep too good either. I think I will attend the next appointment and just explain how much the first session hurt, hopefully she will then refer me to a rheumatologist. There's no way I can go through that again. Going to the hospital now to have the blood tests. I will post updates if I get any developments.
Tiswas - I will try the magnesium flakes, I do take a magnesium supplement with my vitamin d supplements. Thank you.
Thanks again, I appreciate your kind words.

it took me a long time before i would see another reccomended this time and he was brilliant ,he was what you call a mc timmoney chiropractor ajusted the whole body very slightly no pain at all then finished of with a very gentle massage machine all over
.i strated going twice weekly then once weekly then fortnightly then it got to 3 months thats what the right treatment can do .
unfortunatly we had to move county i tried a mctimmoney chiropracter here in yorkshire he was absolutly rubbish he only ajusted the area that hurt ,totaly wrong so i stopped going
. then i found the alternative practinioner who i told you about yesterday but now his moved seems everytime i find someone really good they change jobs or move or i do . well good luck .

and right between the shoulder blades around my diaghpram
the pain is worse between my shoulder blades but i think thats because i broke 3 ribs prior to fibro and it seems that anywhere where there is an old injury or new the pain is worse .dont no if anyone eles has noticed that
