If I am bored or just not busy over time a real agony builds in my tooth but if I am partaking in some hobbies or my work it eases / goes, there are no signs within any teeth of the pain and have tried many home solutions, any advice before I look to my dentist cry

Well, it really is all you can do. I suspect you're still quite young. You don't want to turn into one of those middle-aged men with rotting stumps and disgusting breath, do you? I came from a very poor, uneducated background, where the general rule seemed to be: "Real men don't have teeth". Well, judging from the state of my uncles' mouths (though not my dad's) that seemed to be true!

Real men go to the dentist. At least once a year. Go on - bite the bullet! But not the dentist.eek You'll be fine.

Could you be grinding your teeth? Or you may have a crack in the tooth. Either way you need to see a dentist. There really is no option!
