Anyone experienced increased stiffness after Knee replacement? Inspite of daily walking and exercising knee seems to feel even stiffer and how long does the pain at night continue?

Instead of wondering why it is taking so long, think about how far you have come since the operation. It's not just a simple broken bone. You have had major surgery, and yes, whilst it does come down to you on how long recovery is, it is still a long haul. Concentrate on building strong muscles. If you need to go out for fresh air use a bicycle; no impact at all. But before yo u do that make sure you can do a full revolution regarding the pedals (To start you may need to raise the seat as far as it will go).
After your exercise, rest, leg elevated, the stiffness comes when you are trying to work through the pain, stiffness (if you cant ice, use heat, works atreat)

Thanks for your message
Firstly let me wish you luck for your return to work next week
I am hoping to go back in 3 weeks time
Had physio today and my goodness did I feel even stiffer afterwards but they assure me everything is fine for coming up to 9 weeks
I used a stepper today so am thinking of getting one of those I already have a bike
I still have awful trouble bending knee because of swelling and stiffness but the pain has become easier thank goodness
I don't think any of us realised how long the road to recovery was we first had the op at leat this forum lets us know we are not alone in our struggle
All the best for next week
