hi i think i might have an ingrown hair around my pubic area.
it is extremely sore and itchy and I'm worried that it might be infected.
any advice? obviously i do not want to bother my gp about this

If you can see the hair, after a hot bath to soften the skin, get some tweezers and get rid of it. If you can't see the hair put something like salicylic acid on the area, I would recommend Paula's Choice liquid exfoliant. It helps painful infected skin.
