Irregular periods with bright red blood, is this normal?

I have the implant for birth control so irregular periods is not abnormal for me but I just got my period for the first time in a few months almost 2 weeks ago and it lasted 7 days and ended. 3 days later, I had cramps and the next day got my period again but it is bright red blood, which I have never had before. Getting my period twice in such a short time period with a different colored blood kind of freaked me out so im not sure if it is anything more than just my period or if it is anything to be concerned about? Thank you!!
