Any suggestions please, I need advise.
I have never been able to swallow properly, food has always gotten stuck. I had my tonsils out as a child, they thought that my tonsils were so big, they could be obstructing. That didn't help but I just left it. it got a lot worse last year and I also lost my appetite, I lost 10 kg in a couple of months due to just not having an appetite. I have managed to maintain my weight but it is forced... I eat because I know I'm supposed to and I'm on the verge of being underweight, I don't want to lose more but I still don't feel hunger. I could still go days without needing to eat. I've had a endoscopy done on my stomach, everything looked normal. I'm still waiting on the results of the biopsy but I'm sure they'll come back normal too.
I'm not anaemic, not hypothyroidism, colitis or ibs. I'm beginning to wonder if it is anorexia that is causing physical problems. I do like to be slim but I wouldn't say I control my weight in any way and I'm not depressed or anything like that. has anyone experienced something similar and it HAS come back as a physical problem or it HAS turned out you're anorexic?
I think they're doing the swallow test thing next to look for muscular problems but I'm starting to think it's in my head.
