it hasn't been perfect for me, but it's pretty amazing.
i can see pretty much far and close.
I've had mine for 3 years.
i had yag laser treatment in my right eye for PCO that had developed over time, and the sight is remarkable.
i will have laser treatment in my left eye in June.
My left eye didn't turn out as good due to Lasik done years ago that left it with some astigmatism.
Good luck with your decision !

Yes.
It seems better than ever, which kind of leads me to believe that there might have been some issue with the capsule right after the original implant.

I had cataract surgeries in August and September 2018, and have a Symfony lens in my right eye and a Symfony Toric lens in my left eye. I am very happy with my results 20/20 vision at all distances without glasses. I personally feel that the extra cost was worth every penny.
I see very well at night. When driving or riding in a car, the upcoming headlights do look like a bright starburst, but it has not been a problem for me. I just do not look directly at them. Prior to my surgery, they looked like a blurred white out of focus light. I could not see well at all and had no confidence in driving at night. Now, I have no hesitation in driving at night.
I had read and been told by another eye doctor that I would not be a good candidate for multifocal IOLs because I had prior Lasik surgery and dry eyes. My surgeon felt differently and was very experienced using Symfony lenses.
If you want to see well at all distances without glasses, it is definitely worth the cost.
Good luck with your decision.

No, I have not needed it. I still have excellent vision. I still use prescription eye drops (Restasis) twice a day to control my dry eyes. My last eye appointment was last summer and he suggested I come back in a year for a checkup.
FYI - Prior to my first surgery, we waited several months until my dry eye problem was addressed. I had several eye traces done over a 7 month period, until they matched. This was to ensure my eyes didn't change between the last eye trace and the surgery. My surgeon attributed much of my success to our being patient and preparing my eyes for the surgery. I had a wonderful doctor
