Is there anyone out there born before blood transfusions were started?  I was born in 1943 , severely jaundiced but somehow managed to survive.  A brother before me and one after did not survive although they tried a transfusion on my brother who was born after me.  I have suffered many illnesses and have always wondered why; breast cancer, gall bladder, fibroids, endometriosis, anxiety and depression which, thankfully, responds to medication.  My doctor is not interested when I raise the Rhesus question.  I just wish there was a doctor out there who would listen.  Geraldine
