Is there anything other than herpes???

So I'm freaking out because the other day I discovered a little raised sore/bump on the right side of my clitoris under the hood. There's no itching and it only hurts slightly if you touch it. And it is the only sore. This is the first time I've ever seen something like this on me, and it doesn't really look like any of the pictures online of herpes, I went to the doctor and she said it kinda looks like it, but she could be wrong and not sure.. So she did a swab and I'm waiting for the results.. I've had the same partner for over 7months now and he's never had anything like this and says he's clean and I have been clean in prior tests. Could it be anything else???

    He can have it and never know it, or have outbreaks...a culture will tell if it's herpes...I thought mine was a rash..nope! So now I feel doomed...out of hope..but I wish u well

    Hi.....genital herpes starts off itchy then a soar bump and then transformed into blisters....the blisters continues to spread and the wounds of the blisters will start to open up to the point where you become to limp and is in critical pain.  You would have to be put on meds like Valtrex to clear it up.  Genital herpes can not be cured it can only be controlled through meds.  you must get your result to see what you are up against.  In the mean time...avoid oral sex and intercourse.  A virus is contagious in every way once contracted by mouth or by genital area!!  The only best way I can make you see how serious this is..is to say to you...if you or your partner want to continue kissing or greeting people with a kiss... and that includes babies and kids........then get your result first!

      Okay but this doesn't really answer my question.. I'm asking if there's a possibility I have something else. Since there hasn't been any itching or blisters and it doesn't really hurt

      Well it should answer your questions...cause I just gave you my symptoms  to genital herpes (which was what you were concerned about) in order for you to compare to what you or experiencing right now.  And if you are not experiencing those symptoms....then you could possibly have something else!  But you still need to get your test result to know what you are up against.  Also....speed up your result process by calling into the Doctors...office....trust me...it does not take that long to get a result in.....sometimes Doctors needs a little reminder call!   Been there...done that!

      Yea the only symptom I have is just a little sore, that is only slightly sensitive to touch. But I will do that thanks
