Hello there and a happy new year! Anxiety is a roller coaster really. I have experienced most of symptoms that can be very frightening and each time I block out and freak out and I'm unable to function. The 1st step for your symptoms to subside is to recognise that it's your anxiety and TRY as hard as it is,to ignore it and keep your mind busy by watching sth/listening to music/go out for a walk/start working out /meditating /breathing techniques! As you said you had an ecg and echo that came out clear so this should put your mind at rest. What you're experiencing while falling asleep is a panic attack and I used to have it every night for like a week or 2. It's all your anxiety, find something that calms your mind. Best of luck!

Its completely common. We all have had chest pains at some point or another. I get them daily still, some days though I'm lucky and can go 3 or 4 days without. You're waking up because you're scared of it happening.. Tell yourself before bed that you're ok. You were examined and your heart is fine. You need sleep. Listen to calming music before bed and you could possibly just drift off to bed. If that doesn't work, try a natural sleep aid

Sadly all the symptoms you describe are the dreaded anxiety symptoms , It is a form of health anxiety, and just when you think you have mastered one , you start to dwell on something else. Although hard distraction through the day is easier than at night... Because your lay there and can feel every sensation in the body, and anxiety heightens the sensations. And before you know it your in full on panic mode which is exhausting.
I use guided relaxation meditations of the net to calm my self , and a sleep one if i need the extra.
During the day i tell my self .. i am calm , i am stron, i can do this, Stay hydrated as this helps fresh air, a walk, anything else that can distract you from the negative thoughts about your health x
Good Luck it can be beaten but you need to work at it x
