Is this fatigue?

I've been suffering with it for a while now but I was wondering if this is a part of fatigue or MS....or both...

Mainly at night, my legs feel like I have a blanket of concrete over them along with the pain and pins and needles. They ache so much that my brain is screaming 'move them and they will feel better' yet I simply don't move. I can't.

I was laying on my bed earlier, and I have to have pillows inbetween my legs to keep my back and hips straight but I forgot them, my back was killing me yet I simply didn't move a muscle, knowing the cushions where right next to me....again, I just couldn't do it!

Hi, it does sound like a combination of fatigue, specifically and MS generally. I know how wearying it can be, fatigue's a killer, pain is too. In combination, they're horrible. There's no simple solution here, the best thing is probably to make a checklist of things that you MUST do. I had to do a similar type of thing, back in the day. I had to work through a set of (cautious) stretches, before even attempting sleep, otherwise I'd end up waking to horrific, nauseating pain.

I've never...knowingly...woken up to pain! I mean during the night. I wake up on the mornings sore and stiff though. I wake up a lot from my muscles jumping though

Basically, MS really is a pain in the rear, in both senses. Try speaking either to your GP/primary care Dr, or a pharmacist about what meds might help with your symptoms, we all need to focus on quality of life, and often meds are a necessary evil. Take care
