I shaved a week ago and a couple days after I shaved I felt irritated and started scratching down there and sores appeared I don't know what it is and it got worse from it rubbing against my skin and my clothing. Please give me your opinions I'm freaking out I asked a friend that has it and she said in her opinion it is not.

Could be a bacterial or fungal skin infection if it's related to shaving.

It doesn't seem like you have it. Have you slept with anyone new lately? Because if your friend has it and you explained I feel like she would be able to give you a good answer. I suggest going to the docter because if it is not that you would want to get whatever it may be dealt with as soon as possible.

I've been sleeping with the same person for the past year. And when I searched it up or says that you will get symptoms or outbreaks 2-20 days after contracting the infection. But then I also read that some people don't get symptoms at all....
