Is this herpes?

So I had sex with someone about 6 weeks ago.

3 weeks (21 days) later on the dot I had a cold sore pop up on my mouth. This is definitely not the first time this has happened but the timing freaked me out.

I've always been deathly afraid of herpes and all STD's which is why I've only had sex with 3 people in my life. So having sex with somone had me worried already. Especially since there was a point where he wasn't wearing a condom (even though I insisted, but I was highly drunk so I guess I just allowed it).

I don't know if there's any sort of relation between contracting HSV-2 and having it show up on your mouth first and I can't find it anywhere online. Anyway the next thing I noticed was this extremely faint itching. I feel it for like .5 seconds and maybe its because im in my head so much.

But the worst part of all is what I realized today. Nearly 6 weeks after the incident I for whatever reason wanted to investigate and noticed these tiny white clusters of bumps. They dont hurt and I wouldn't have noticed them if it weren't for my curiosity. But online it does say herpes go unnoticed all the time. Im going to get tested of course but I'm extremely reluctant because I feel like I have it and that feels like the end of the world to me. Based on this story and these pictures can you guys please give me some input?

Thank you so much.

My best input is to go get tested regardless of how you feel about it to give you assurance and a peace of mind rather than beating yourself up and spending hours online to find a website who can directly give you the answer you're looking for, especially if a coldsore has showed up already. Turn that reluctancy to being proactive of your sexual health. I know, the thought of having an STD is scary, but what's even more scary is not recieving the proper treatment, diagnosis, and care for it. It's more scary to have to guess whether you have it or not. How long have you had these bumps and have you had any cold sores recently after the last time you had a coldsore outbreak? Watch any signs of irritation or breaking with these bumps. Remember, there are lots of people with STD's who are living the best of their lives and not letting that define them with the right treatments because everyone deserves happiness regardless of what they have, and you definitely deserve that too. Best of luck!
