felt itching and burning for the past few days, then noticed a few bumps on my labia. went to the doctor and she did a full look, said it isn't herpes and not to worry, and prescribed me cream for a yeast infection bc of the burning. i can't help but think it looks like it. i scratched down there a lot, she said it could be because of the friction that bumps appeared and one of the bumps stings when i wipe.

Yes, looks concerning in regards to herpes. Best advice, get into the doctors office and ask for a SWAB test when you have active sores or other herpes symptoms.
