Is this herpes or something else?

so about 2 days after shaving & having intercourse with my normal partner, i noticed these 2 small red lesions on my groin area and leg. i am immediately panicking because it is the first time i seen a sore on my intimate area. it does not hurt burn or itch but is still freaking me out. could this be herpes sores or could it be from shaving too roughly or something else??? (it is shinning in the picture from Neosporin)

    Hi there! This looks to me like simple cuts from a razor that are healing. Typically, herpes lesions would sting/burn to the touch especially your first outbreak. However, it is important to remember herpes presents itself differently in everybody. I would recommend getting a blood test in 3 months to be absolutely positive! (3 months because you want to give the virus time to produce antibodies to show on a test, testing too soon will result in a false negative) I also wouldn't recommend putting Neosporin on your genital area, try taking a warm bath with epsom salt.
