Is this herpes or something else? Please help!

  • i had gotten a tear/cut while having sex a few days ago, figured it was just that when i felt slight stinging during urination. no bumps or sores since then. then today i noticed this sore popped up and i have no idea what it could be!
  • i have developed a yeast infection over the past couple days
  • is this just an infected tear/cut from my yeast infection? an ulcer perhaps?
  • i haven't had any itching or flu like symptoms, kind of stings during urination, don't notice it much beyond that
  • no other sores or abnormalities around it
  • i've been with the same partner for 6+months and as far as i know, we both haven't been with anyone else
  • what should i do? is seeing a doctor necessary?

    that looks like a herpes sore, i know its tough. i was recently diagnosed 2 months ago and i have been with my bf for over a year. no one cheated but i clearly contracted it from him. he had no idea he had it since he never showed symptoms. i never experienced flu like symptoms during the first outbreak but i was in a lot of pain, especiallf when i peed

      like i said in my post reply, not sure if it makes a difference or not, but i attached a photo of what it looks like currently (a couple hours after original photo).. I'm not familiar with the stages of herpes though so any advice or info would be helpful pertaining to that pic! I plan to go see a doctor tomorrow but my nerves are getting the best of me at the moment

    not sure if this makes any difference, but this is what it looks like now about 1.5 or so hours later. the white part is starting to go away and it doesn't look like an indented ulcer underneath or anything. image

    hey do you have a pic of the original cut/tear? was it in the same spot?

      i don't have a pic of the original tear since i figured it was nothing 😕 .. most of the area around my vaginal opening just looked red and irritated from what i could see when i checked the following days after sex. didn't see a real visible cut or anything of that sort. i also don't have any burning or stinging when i urinate any more and of course, never had any itchiness or pain

    @cloe16728 that looks like herpes but its best to have a culture to determine that
