hello lovely ladies, im looking for reassurance i guess, the past 6 weeks have been awful for me, nausea every day, no appetite, anxiety, flat mood that just wont shift, face flushing every evening and insomnia and occasional sweats - although that at least has calmed down a bit, i keep excercising and keeping busy in the hope it will start to lift, but no joy - im yet to miss a period, though they have become very light - anyone else been through this - espicially the nausea will this ease up soon ???

Hi Karen, When I went to my obgyn in August...she told me I was in phase 1... once my periods became irregular...which was a year ago. I researched this...apparently there are 4 phases in peri process. Hence why it can last years. You can google phases of perimenopause...explains different stages, symptoms...but it really cannot pinpoint anything because we are all different
Also, very interesting read I saw recently about a kit that received approval...but it is supposed to give us an idea of when menopause will happen. Google...FDA Approves New Test That Determines When A Woman Is In Menopause

Hi Karen
I am with you on this one..its like my symptoms have reversed .. I went 5 months without a period and BAM had one in Oct and it really through everything off. I feel like I'm starting it all over again. It started with digestion and anxiety and this is what I'm dealing with again.

hey mary, at least you got a few months of relief - i would give anything for that right now, its so bad atm i can barely function, this evening after a day of extreme nausea and anxiety i started with the internal tremors and palpitations, i had to have a couple of glasses of wine to stop it for a while, and i really try not ti drink, it did help though x

Hi , i have never missed a period , am 51 , and am getting all the symptoms , the nausea and anxiety were the worse , then came the awful headaches that lasted for days !!! the citolpram helped me soo much and i take apple cider vinegar which is great for nausea m also on menopace , am feeling so much better than i was , i could not leave the house or function , i know there are highs and lows , just hoping when it all returns , it wont be as severe , cant cope with all that again !!!!
