Is this possibly herpes? (Long story and picture included)

About 4 weeks ago, I had unprotected sex with someone and a few days later I got really sick. Fever symptoms, sweating, chills. I also had a sore throat and a UTI all at the same time. About a week of going in and out of clinics, I was referred to the ER, there they did a pelvic exam, transvaginal ultrasounds, took blood, and did some swabs. The ER doctor said he was 95% sure that I had herpes but when I was given my results 2 weeks later I found out they never tested for it at all. I was told I had a bacterial infection, upper respiratory infection, nabothian cysts, and cervicitis in my cervix but the ER Dr had given me an antibiotic and an antiviral the day I was seen in the ER. A few days later, I had a yeast infection, I was given another antibiotic for that and then used an OTC cream because the antibiotic didn't help. A few days after that, I got another UTI, I was given one final antibiotic and I expressed my concerns about the ER not testing me when I was there. I went to my primary care doctor and they took some more blood tests and a urine sample to rule out chlamydia and gonnorhea. I'm still waiting on the results of my blood samples but I had this pop up around my anal area and I need opinions on what it might be. I felt a little discomfort around my anal area about 10 days ago and took a picture and it originally looked like pimples, I called my dr and he brought me in to check it out and told me that it didn't look like herpes. It's not painful to touch, just minor discomfort when my underwear rubs against it and it's just itchy as hell. My dr gave me a cream to help with the itchiness which it helps alot but with the ER dr not testing me for sure, I have so much anxiety and stress due to all of this.

this sounds exactly like my story, same symptoms and er visit and everything. i do now have hsv2. only way to 100% sure is to get a sore swabbed when you first have an outbreak. you could always have a blood test done but that will only tell you if you have been exposed to the virus.

Herpes is relatively the easiest std to identify due its course of actions, starting from the predome (signs of upcoming outbreak) to the outbreaks itself (the pimple-like blisters they once were, around your anus), then the crusting stage to the ulcerative stage (which is the stage on your picture now) then finally to the healing stage. If I may ask, you had an unprotected anal sex, right?

This is a typical herpes ulcer. Even your narration supports my instincts.

We did not have anal sex, we never did anything around that area, just vaginal and oral and I didn't have this around either area.

The lighting in the pic isn't great, but looks like herpes to me. Did you have unprotected anal sex just before this all started?

One doesn't have to have had anal sex for if to appear there. Hsv is in the nerves and it spreads.
