Itchiness for the last couple of months

Hi bit embarrassing but I've been experiencing some itchiness in the area around my anus. It comes and goes but when it does come I can't help but scratch so much that little specks of blood appear on the toilet paper and occasionally it stings when I go to the bathroom. It is exceedingly irritating and even a bit worrying at times. Could it be anal fissures?

If not, does anyone know what this could be and how I can remedy it?

Thanks

It could be inflammation, I never had itchy feeling for anal fissure, especially not around the opening.

Anyhow try stiz bath and apply some coconut oil around the opening.

If it doesn't go off in two weeks, visit a doctor.

Don't scratch, that's how I got my anal fissure, from scratching too hard and tearing that tender skin. I do have the itchy feeling from my fissure, but everyone is different. Your problem does sound more like inflammation.

Try somee zinc oxide in the form of calmoseptine which has menthol to soothe the area down there as well. Calmoseptine can be bought at almost any local drugstore and can be bought online too.
