Itchy cyst on my back that comes and goes

I have a cyst on my back that comes and goes. It will disappear for months and then reappear. It is itchy at times. Is this normal for cyst?

You should see a dermatologist next time it appears. It could be something else. I've had 2 cysts and in both cases, they needed to be removed because they are growing and just bothersome.
