Itchy Scalp

Has anyone had problems with  their scalp.  For the last week mine has been quite red and painful also itchy.  Knowing Fibromyalgia can cause problems with the nerve endings under the skin could it be this.  I am using the same hair products that I always use so I don't think it could be those.  Be interested to hear your reply's.   By the way I haven't got nits!!!!!! because my 7 year old grandaughter decided if my head is itchy that is what I must have and gave me a thorough check razzrazzredface

Yes I’ve had an itchy scalp before and it’s miserable; won’t even let one sleep.  My doctor put me on Gabapentin but I also got some over the counter lotion as someone told me it could be dry scalp. The itching is gone now and I’ve come off Gabapentin because it makes me tired. But I do from time to time use a product strictly for dry scalp and it seems to work. Hope this helps. PS That’s a cute story about your granddaughter.
