Hi Nancy. This has been an ongoing nightmare for me. I started having terrible jaw ache last September. Already suffering from anxiety, this pushed me over the edge on finding out that this was a sign of a heart attack in women. My mother in law had died a couple of weeks before with a heart attack, and had been complaining of jaw ache, so it was no surprise when I ended up in A & E one night. Fortunately, it was only a panic attack. My dentist and doc cannot find anything wrong, so I've been referred to a consultant in my local hospital. As I am classed as a non urgent case, I've been told by the hospital that I'm not likely to get an appointment until early next year!!! Meanwhile, it's driving me crazy, so I have total sympathy with you x

Yes,I suffer from a very stiff and sore jaw. It makes sound. The dentist and the specialist thinks that I grind my teeth during sleep. I am sure that's the case because I wake up with very tight chin&jaw. X

Yes to both jaw pain and tender gums. The roof of my mouth is constantly sore, although the dentist says he doesn't see anything wrong. Isn't this a wonderful time of life? LOL.

Hi
I've been suffering with burning sore mouth and tongue etc. Also my jaw throbs and is stiff. I've been diagnosed with burning mouth syndrome by a maxofacial specialist. I also had a biopsy 5 weeks ago which I go back and get results tomorrow. This illness takes a long time to diagnose. I've had my bloods done and no deficiencies, now waiting for results of biopsy. I may be having a scan for my jaw
