jaw spasm??? tongue biting in my sleep

So last night as i was dosing off on the sofa as i felt really unwell sudden sickness feeling head ache and muscle pulses as i call them not aure wat they r but feels like a pulse or jerk in my muscles i ha them in my left calf my right upper ram in my neck left side and my eye lid was flickering. Also pulse like feelings in my belly undermy rib. So when i was dosing off my jaw suddenly clamped shut Nd bit my tongue which woke me up shouting in pain. This has bever happened b4 it was really weird anykne else had this x

    I do have this (jaw spasm) from time to time, too. In and of itself it can, very likely not be something at all, along with other neurological symptoms it could be a pattern, hopefully not though.

    I always recommend that anyone with ongoing health concerns, to keep a running record of symptoms, concerns, dates and anything else you think might be connected. A record can be very handy if you find yourself having medical investigation of any kind.

    I forgot to mention, try reading about 'myoclonus' and 'hypnic jerk', they're just the names for some types of spasm.
