How long have you been on Fluox ? Did you have the same side effects increasing your dose as when you first started taking it?  I'm supposed to increase my dose and I am dreading potential increased anxiety.

My first experience of floux 20 years ago was I felt weird for a week and couldn't sleep , that was on 20 mg , but then they helped a lot , past two years taken 40mg, not too bad , but the 60mg like I said was bad for two weeks , its probably the brain getting used to the new level , bear with side effects ,they should wear off , like mine are and you begin to feel better xxxx

I'm been taking 20mg for years and can only remember getting some relief after three / four weeks so can't be accurate .This time around I'm not sure if it's the increase or my accute anxiety that's the problem  though .I hate this waiting game but just wanna feel normal again .

    Hi there

Yep me to, 🤗 gone from 40 to 60 just had a few days of feeling down but now it's all settled down and glad I went up to the 60mg , my doc did warn me that I may feel down for a while, so I was scared like you, but jumped in and every thing is good now🤞Let's hope we hang in there and stay the same...

And yes hope every one out there finds that by just giving it time this drug can work...BUT it's not for every one, as what works for one won't always for another, but if you can stick it out, it will get better, just needs time ..

Take care big hug to every one 🤗X

Its a tough time ! Having to increase and feeling scared to!!! At least we can all share our experiences here ,and they are all very similar which is helpful!! My mood is much better after two weeks on the increased dose , so that's a bonus.l would say , stick with it ,but if symptoms persist after a fortnight, go back to your gp. , hugs to all!! Xxxx
