Hi, after reading some advice on here, I asked for a copy of my most recent blood test results. I was diagnosed in late October and have been on 40 mg carbimazole since.
The new numbers say:
Serum free T4 level 57.7
Serum Tsh level 0.01
Can anyone tell me what these indicate, beyond what I already see which is that the first one is high and the other is low! I know it's an improvement because my initial level was 08-something.

If T4 goes to high like yours is then TSH lowers. TSH stands for thyroid stimulating hormone. When T4 is abnormally high your body lowers TSH to compensate. You get hyperthyroidism when your thyroid does not respond to the bodies call to lower it's output.
