I've been prescribed Citalopram, but put off taking it for a couple of days whilst I read up on it. Decided to start this morning since I'm off work for 2 weeks to allow any side-effects to abate slightly before returning.
I'm going to record my side-effects as they come and go, in case it helps others.
Prescription is 20mg - one a day

Fingers crossed taking them in the morning will be better. If not I'm going start working out again at the end of the month and I might switch back taking them in the evenings and hopefully the gym will make me exhausted.
My anxiety is a lot better except moments when it catches me off guard. I went to dentist on Tuesday and all of sudden it was like I was having panic attack and it felt like my heart was going jump out of my chest.

Day 5 - still feel pretty low in energy. Tingle in lips is more pronounced.
I'm going to move my dose closer to bedtime to see if this helps, and have the side-effects whilst I'm sleeping. Potential downside being that I am feeling warmer after taking the tablet, might wake me up.

Yes the meds can make you feel warmer - I sometimes wake around 4am feeling hot and bothered. Other than that, my sleep is good.

As others have said, the side effects do reduce with time, so I've left my dose at breakfast.
I feel absolutely fine today. No headache or lethargy, no dry mouth etc. Its obviously too early to count any chickens yet, but fingers crossed my body is accepting the current dosage without too much of a fight.
