Lack of sweating during menopause ?

Hi
My sister is experiencing lots of symptoms and docs say she is in the menopause. She is refusing to accept this and has spiralled in to depression, mainly caused by severe hair loss.
She no longer sweats at all, even in very warm environments. Has anyone else experienced this please ? She lies down at night and cannot sleep due to constant heat but no sweating.
Please help.

If the GP had done bloods checking thyroid vitamin deficiency etc then it sounds like meno
Hairloss , depression and anxiety are also near the top of the menopause list of symptoms
Hope your sister can be reassured and keep calm this will make life more tolerable during this transition

Insomnia
Extreme fatigue
Severe hair loss
Dry eyes, nose, mouth and ears (!)
Joint pain
Easy bruising
Receding gums and rotting teeth
She has lumps in throat too(been checked and ok)
To name a few!
It is all so confusing, and incredibly debilitating for her xx

No I don't sweat either. I have just became very hot. I have read about these women who sweat and wondered if I'm better off or worse.
Yes I'm not forever having to change clothes and shower, but when I get so hot I have no sweat to cool me down.
I have begun HRT last month it has improved loads. I also before going for HRT used a lady magnate available from Boots the chemist and although it didn't stop it entirely made it a lot more bearable.
I did have flushes eg. Heat came from my stomach upward and my face and chest would turn bright red, but absolutely no sweating.
I have also suffered awful depression and insomnia. The insomnia has already improved with just one month of HRT.
Hope this helps your sister.

I do understand though from reading a lot on menopause that if symptoms don't improve it may be that changing the the prescription for a different type can help.
After a lot of study I asked my GP for oestrogel and utrogestan (they are more bio identical) and also ordered myself testosterone online as my GP will not test for it or prescribe it.
This combo is what is recommended by Professor John Studd. The menopause guru.
