Ladies: Herpes or overreacting?

Hey. Noticed a sore while peeing because it stung. It's like a little crater, had a white center and healed. No other symptoms.

Been in 1.5 year monogamous relationship. We haven't had penetration sex since last year but we perform oral on each other. He's never shown cold sores or herpes.

The sore healed in 2-3 days without meds. Saw gyno and she prescribed Valtrex just in case. Expecting blood results on Monday and the wait is killing me.

I do shave and tend to scratch when my hair is growing back. What do you think it is? imageimageimage

No way you'll know for sure until the results come back, but it does have the semblance of an HSV ulcer.

Hi, it looks like you may have cut yourself while shaving. I've done that before and it looked the same way.

Thank you for replying, you two. It's all healed up: no crusting, no scab, all gone. If it is my first outbreak of herpes, thankfully it was mild and short. I did a 3 day course of Valtrex right after it was mostly healed (just in case). I got this super light spot now. Haha.

I'll post with my results on Monday! Have a good weekend!

I got my results. I tested negative for both types. My doctor did not test for recent infection (IgM)

Thank you for replying to me in my time of need 😃 I plan on retesting in 3 months, just in case.
