Has anyone tried this for anxiety?? My therapist has recommended it. I have unfortunately developed a dependence on xanax and it actually makes anxiety worse when you come off of it. I've tried SSRIs and hated them. Bad side effects and they don't work. He said this could be paired with a benzo but the benzo won't be needed as much.

I do not want to have to rely on xanax, nor do I want to experience the intense anxiety without it.

Just looking for some feedback and input. Thanks!

I take ativan as needed and lexapro 10mg at night and the ativan helps with the side affects from the SSRI.. Im probably addicted to ativan right now but if it helps I'm gonna take it.. I weened off it in 2009 and was fine.. Had a bout with health anxiety in Oct of 2014 and have been taking ativan since and started my lexapro in Dec. If it helps you hun then take it.. ❌❌❌

Hey girl! wanted to know how your coming off of Xanyx was coming along.  I took 1 bottle of Xanyx while in the states for panic attacks and they worked like a charm but doctors will not prescribe them here in Europe because of their addictive qualities.  I felt for my anxiety they were UH- mazing and worked like Gold and now use Qutiapine have you found anything else that works for you? Thanks =)
