Lanzaprozole for LPR Side effects

Hi I have been diagnosed with LPR after seeing an ENT specialist 6 weeks ago. I am now taking 2 x 30mg Lanazaprozole (PPI) a day (morning and before evening meal) and also 2 x 5ml (teaspoons) of Gaviscon advance 4 times a day after food and before bed.   Since taking this medication i am getting constant wind in my stomach accompanied with bubbling, growling noises in the stomach straight after eating. and also a very bloated stomach especially after the main meal in the evening. Has anyone else experienced these side effects??

Thanks Pete

I don't think that Lanazaprozole is to blame. I've not had that reaction to any of the PPI's.

That is a lot of Gaviscon and four meals a day seems a lot to be  eating. Hardly gives your food time to digest before the next meal.

I have been prescribed Lansoprazole for 4 years and get various side effects which doc says is normal adding it's all about balance to control your gastric problems. I get bloated wind and sometimes visit toilet more than usual. Am trying to vary diet hoping for improvement but am worried about bone thinning in long term use of the drug.
