Had an eye test and the tester gave me a letter to take to my doctors as my left pupil is larger and my eye sight is worse in that eye, also I started getting pulsittile tinnitus about 10 months ago along with a background noise, the doctor has made an urgent referral for a scan at the brain cancer hospital, Has anyone else had this and it turned out to be nothing. A little worried now.

Really sorry thaat nobody has responded to you. Are both the eye problem and the tinnitus located on the same side?
?No point in telling you not to worry, as you will. It is natural, but you are on your way to a diagnosis now, and I am sure that the medical team will act quickly if anything abnormal is found.
?I would suggest that you join the cancer forum and see what's what on there. There may be some information that will help you out and reassure you.
?Don't forget that there are a number of well known "celebrities" that have all been through brain cancer, and come out the other side. BUT you may not have that at all, and your imagination is leading you to worry about a situation that may not exist.
Hope this helps, just a little.

I saw that youhad a response and I agree with the poster.
I went through a very scary time being rferred to the Macmillan centre in London for a ct scan of my lungs as drs saw a shadow on a chest x ray.
Fortunately it turned out to be notthing ore than a small haemangioma.
Drs have to exclude everything hence sending us for investigations and scaring the life out of us.
It seems that the best scanners are also at cancr hospitals or centres too.
So the answer to your question is yes I have been through a similar time andit turned out okay.
Take care xxx
