Layer changed with a month and a half...

Has anyone in menopause had TVA showing endometrium layer of 3mm and then a month and a half later, due to premenstrual symptoms and bleeding gone to gynie, had the layer jump to 8mm? A biopsy was done but I have to wait 3-4 weeks for the result and I am not coping well. Seems to me that it could be hormonal as someone here suggested a few days ago, but now I am overly anxious. Also if there was a later stage than zero or one would a mass be seen on the TVA?
Thanks. Im supposed to go abroad tomorrow on holiday and this has ruined it.

Oh darling I know how u feel. I am
Post and my lining is 11mm. Going in Friday for a biopsy. My partner was suppose to go with me and he dumped me on Monday after 2 yrs.
Anxiety is horrible and gets the best of you even though u don't want it.
I wish I could make it better but we just have to be strong and carry on u til the results arrive and cope with whatever it is.
I hope for u and for me it will be nothing.
Xx

I am also off to Israel Monday. Ex was suppose to come but he didn't bother, going with my beautiful daughter instead and we will visit Jerusalem, the wailing wall and pray for strength.
All will be well. Keep me posted on your development and happy bday to ur mum.

I'm not a doctor or nurse so please know this is only what I think. But I've done a lot of research. You don't say if you're actually post menopause and by how long? No period in over a year? 3 mm is good. Why did they check you then? If you're having a period now, then yes, your lining will be thicker. Because that's what a period is. Your lining thickens and then you shed it. So 8 would be completely normal. After the period, it will be thin again. I assume you're concerned about cancer? That happens when your have an abundance of estrogen that continually thickens your lining and multiplies the cells. A month and a half doesn't sound reasonable for that to happen. I think you're having a period and that's why the lining is thick. Maybe someone else will correct me on that but that's what I think. Can you call and ask the doctors office to explain it to you? I think you'll find you can go on holiday and not worry.

Thanks. I'm 56 and 14 months post. I went in July due to lower abdominal pain, which has been gone for over month now. A few days ago my spotting started so I went in again.

My opinion is you're having a period. You may just not be completely in meno yet. Have they checked your hormone levels? That would tell them a lot.
