Left upper quadrant abd pain

Posted , 5 users are following.

I have been seeking help with this for the past 5 months. Most tests normal except for elevated C reactive protein one elevated lipase with normal amalase. Pain is bearable if i don't eat or move around too much. Taking up to 4000mg tylenol during the day and 400-600mg motrin at night to sleep. I'm at my wits end as the pain continues to increase. I have been told it is not pancreatitis because lipase not hogh enough. Started with a new high blood sugar needing insulin to now no insulin at all. Any thoughts?

      Anne,

Any update on your results? What happened with the breath test? How are you feeling? I finally got a transfer to a University hospital and hope to see a better GI specialist in three weeks. Hope all is well!

      Hi Anne,

It's been a while, just wanted to follow up and see how you are doing and if you've made any progress on your diagnosis.
