Let's list our anxiety symptoms and maybe get a pinned post?

I notice many posts relate to anxiety symptoms which worry us and we are not sure what to make of them especially those who are health anxious.

So perhaps we could list our main anxiety symptoms for reference to others.

My main physical symptoms include:

Sinking feeling in stomach, inc horrible stomach feeling.

Tightening of muscles and burning in arms, shoulders, legs.

Scalp tightening and tingling sensations in face and scalp.

Tight chest.

Dizziness.

Its very hard to list them all, as I get different ones as well, so its sometimes hard to think is that anxiety or something more serious, as I mainly suffer health anxiety, but also a lot of the symptoms listed here.

How long have you felt like this, mine has been since about the 2nd week of the medication, I am now on just past the 3rd.  I am trying to fight it but I dont think the dark morning and the fact that Xmas is 2 days away are helping.  I am beginning to alienate everyone now as well.

I've been bad for a few weeks now and I feel the same with dark mornings and xmas. When you're supposed to be having fun it's even harder, right?

I don't take medication for my anxiety as I don't want to (not saying people shouldn't) but I use CBT.

I havent seen a friend in 5 weeks due to my anxiety currently, and haven't recieved a text from anyone asking if i'm OK which hasn't made me feel any better! It's pretty crappy but it is a time when you need to concentrate on yourself getting better. Keep family and people who understand close.
