So I know for some of you ladies this is the furthest thing from your mind.... I understand that was me until recently - but I'm now 6 1/2 weeks post op (still waiting post OP check) and well am starting to think when I should jump back on the horse (so to speak) had no discharge for over a week now in general feel ok - only feel sore or "bulgy" if I over do it- should I wait for my check up appointment or if I am feeling brave ( with a couple of glasses of vino) should I just go for it ???

I am 8 weeks post op for A&P repair, and not even thinking of penetrative sex as yet, even though the swelling has on the whole went down and hard bumpy dry feeling is now smother and feeling more normal.
I'm probably more scared now, but will definitely buy some KY gel before my consultant appointment at 11/12 weeks and have a go, but not looking forward to that at all.
One of those things that can't be rushed until you feel ready yourself.

The posts from you both that went for moderation were because of the bug listed in the FAQ below which is linked to when a post is in moderation.
https://patient.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/402742-why-has-my-post-been-sent-for-moderation-not-been
Until this is fixed and if this happens again all I can suggest is either wait for me to approve them or repost making sure there are spaces between every sentence.
Regards,
Alan

Sorry to hear hubby had melanoma, hope he is doing OK.
That's good to know that insurance is no problem from 10 weeks, I hoped off to Costa del sol 3 years ago around 3 months post op, never gave it a thought last time.
Hopefully all going well at work once I return will get away at end June beg July. If not will have to wait till school October week!
Thanks Eve,
Phyl xx
