Let's talk about sex, and the partner factor.

Given I've done everything under the sun this past month, the last factor dealing with that health and the region - is my sexual partner.

I'm curious about any useful bits of information - metaphysical, emotional, experiental or otherwise.

My personal relation with him has been bumpy, frought with him sleeping with another very promiscuous woman over the first couple of months prior to us becoming exclusive. He also has a very full history of hook ups/girlfriends/etc and I know now that he has had many experiences without protection. I'm no saint myself, I have had a few partners over the last few years.

But this is a first (since college) that I have had such a bad reaction.

Is it possible to be allergic to someone? Does anyone have homeopathic articles related to this?

Interested in stories touching on the theme of partner/compatibility/trust etc.

My doctor today mentioned the 'giving it back and forth' thing. But said nothing of treating him. So are we giving it back and forth, or is my body becoming unbalanced mixing my flora with his?

Jess...I am wondering if the whole bumpy stress thing has anything to do with it.....it's a super long story but like you lots of on an off stress with the relationship....wondering if that could be a trigger....this is the first time I have had BV and I am 45... Have had it for over a year and 7 months...my Gyno claims there is an underlying reason....wondering if stress is it

Its his semen. The pH on semen is very hi. I'm like that. It is almost like a behind allergic. Best thing 2 do is to not have him ejaculate in you. If it happens vagisil pH wash followed by a boric acid insert. At least that is my findings

Well for me after years of prolonged exposer to my husbands semen I have developed an allergy to it. I have a long history of food and external allergies. One of which is protein. If I have sex with my husband and it gets on my skin instantly a rash. I have been suffering from bv for over a year. My doctor is great but I don't think she saw this coming. No pun intended. The medicine she was giving me did not work so I came to this sight. I found someone with these tips. I have started with vitamin c tablets and prebiotics. So far the discharge and smell are gone. The first thing I noticed was the itch was gone the first day.

Yes - the semens part of it. I mean, this started in December - he did ejactulate inside then and again end of December. It just did not go away all month. We only just slept together for the first time (and it was the first time I had alcohol in a month) and the corelation isn't there - because it never went away.

I'm just going to chill out, put him in the back of my head to relax and do apple cider soaks this weekend. If it doesn't feel like its healing - flagystatin it is. (and i couldn't beleive how expensive that stuff is in Canada - before filling fee and 13% tax it was $60)
