Life after my husband's heart attack

My husband had 2 mi's just over a year ago. He's had a stent fitted and is on various drugs.

Problem is he's totally in denial. He's still smoking, overweight and barely exercises as he gets breathless and sore. He's just been diagnosed with venal insufficiency which isn't helping b. He now has to wear surgical stockings. How can I help him look after himself. He's only 59 and I'm terrified that I might lose him
