Lingering symptoms of chlamydia after treatment.

Hello. I was recently diagnosed with chlamydia and was treated on site six days ago. I was given 250mg of Recephin and 1gm of Azithromycin in a powdered form to mix with water.

Some symptoms have improved somewhat, but I still have some lingering issues. I still have burning urination first thing in the morning but not much after that, just a SLIGHT tingly feeling in the tip of my penis. I also have testicle pain that comes and goes. It will hurt for an hour, and then subside only to come back a few hours later and then subside.

I also have throbbing pain in my groin where my lymphnodes are. Is this normal?

When can I expect these symptoms to go away completely? Does this mean I still have chlamydia? How long do I have to wait to be sexually active again? Thanks.

Did they confirm you have chlamydia? The treatment you have received looks more like it's for gonnorhea.
