Thanks so much for info. I really appreciate it. I m not too good with the computer so I hope someone sees this! As I live in UK it seems hard to talk as no one seems to talk here! My pain is really bad but I dont want to live on Morphine. I just want to ride horses again. The breast cancer was awful but my stupid hips are changing my life. I just feel a bit too young for this! xx

We talk a lot in the Uk. What has the consultant told you? Not seen one then get a referral from your Gp and get yourself on the hip replacement list. I know someone who has had 2 hip replacements and they only just turned 60 and they are leadung a full life's again

My step sister had her hips replaced aged 40and is a year later now super active and happy.
As the previous respondent says, the way girwRd is to get a referral from Gp to consultant who specialises in hip replacement.
All the very best

Hi hun
I'll talk- got nowt else to do except sit or lay at home in immense pain!! I think it's always good to talk exchange ideas and food/health ideas that may help us all.
I have osteoarthritis as well as a herniated disc in my spine. I had a car accident in November 16 which made my back all the worse. Now I'm waiting for an MRI scan to see what my consultant is going to do. My mood is so very low. So chats with anyone will help I'm sure.....
