How long have you been taking Livial Beverley? Once it kicks in you will feel so much better and not really need vitamens - unless you are deficient in something - you will only be providing yourself expensive wee.

Eat a great diet instead - spoil yourself with the best quality yoghurt, fruit, vegies, nuts etc and google 'diet for menopause' to get some great recipes.

Try to move a few extra steps each day this will not only help your weight but your mood too. I do basic exercise videos from you tube - some are as short as 5 minutes to get you started.

I have been on Livial (second time around) for a month now and feeling far better.

    Good luck

    Hi again Beverley,

When you have time scroll through the many older posts oh this site - there has been loads posted re nutrition.

Search under: Menopause, HRT, Livial, Vitamens for Menopause etc - if people have answered the same question on a previous post they may be hesitant to answer again?

Hi Beverley. Soooooooooo pleased your mood is starting to improve - a step in the right directionsmile I have colitis, bile acid malabsorption, Ibs, & fructose malabsorption as well as peri now (walking disaster really), so I cannot eat hardly any veg & no fruit. I just take an ordinary multivit in morning with my meds, & a 500mg ester c vitamin c tablet(ester c is an easily absorbed form of vit c for people with digestive disorders) after dinner in evening to cover any inadequacies in my diet. most multivits contain enough of everything without overdosing on any particular vitamin. You probably wouldn't need extra vit c on top of a multivit if you eat fruit & veg. I have found since starting hrt I've put on 5lbs since 1/4/16, but also I have been off work sick since mid may with colitis flare so not running around like I usually am could have contributed too. Even putting on 5lbs (which I do not want to) though, a small price to pay for my much better mental state, elimination of headaches, better sleep, elimination of 2yrs of irregular bleeding, & virtually no brain fog/dizziness/palps. How did you get on with your daughter - having a heart to heart Bev? xxx

Beverley, sorry I forgot to say I would ring your local chemist & just ask to speak to the pharmacist just to check its ok to take multivits with livial. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be. xxx

Hi Bev. At least doc is checking you out. I bloat alot from getting up in morning throughout day, but I have done every since my bowel conditions were diagnosed - part n parcel for me now. Give it time with hubby - nothing has to be set in stone does it? Instead of full blown moving in, why don't you try weekends first for few weeks? He's probably not become distant, from what you've said before, he's probably just trying to give you your space & not "smother" you too much so he doesn't overwhelm you. Did you have a heart to heart with you daughter like we spoke about before (don't talk about it if you don't want to hun.) I've had a really rough weekend/beginning of week with pain from the colitis flare & suspected kidney stones(again), so been "holed up" basically in my little cocoon (home). xxx
