Good Morning Ladies.

So ibposted last week about my period being late and im 10 days in and still no AF. Im 41 started peri last year. It keeps feeling like af wants to show her ugly face lol but has not. This is the first time ive been this late. Ive been experiencing severe health anxiety and panic last few days and its really been taking a toll on me. Normally i have some mild anxiety right before my period but nothing like this its really getting me down. Symptoms ive been having are

Dizziness

Anxiety Panic

Fuzzy Head

Feeling tired lack of energy

Not sleeping well

crying in spurts i think mostly due to frustration.

Bowel issues

Is all of this normal? I still was getting a fairly regular however heavier and shorter period but never more than a day or 2 late except during pregnancy which Im not ...i thought maybe but ive tested 3 seperate times. I just dont no what to do anxiety seems worse in the mornings tappers off n then picks back up around dinner time and tappers off again. Any advice on coping. Or what i coukd do to help calm all this anxiety..I look forward to the replys. This journey has not been plesant for me.

Hi Renee this all sounds familiar, to me i would go to your gp and get them to test your fsh they will show in tests if you are still ovulating properly and producing eggs still.

After a certain age the eggs start to decline. I started my menopause at 50 years of age.

    Best to you

    Liz

8 years here my periods would come from every two weeks to every two months. Never knew when it would come except for the moodiness, bloating, breast soreness, underarm sweating (which I never had before) and severe constipation. Oh an alot of heart palpitaions and heart burn. Before my periods were the worse. Gloom and doom. and after some relief. My periods have seemed to stop now and I am improving at the moment. I do hope you feel better soon.

Hi Renee, I wish i had answers but i am in the same boat like you. Today i have a meeting with a naturopathic dr to help me figure myself out at this stage of my life. Anxiety, heart palps and panic attacks are now my worst symptoms . A friend brought over a box of chamomile tea last night which i took because i was so afraid to have a panic attack in the night that surprisingly calmed me. I drank some this morning and feel relaxed. I say give it a try. Your in my prayers like every woman on this forum. Hugs

    Hi Renee,

Its a horrible time for us ladies, if I hear one more woman say she sailed through the menopause I'll actually go ballistic! I'm in same boat as you every symptom under the sun but the anxiety is the worst one of all. I take ASHWAGANDHA, it's herbal and takes the edge off an attack. I take one every morning no matter how I'm feeling, it may take a few days to kick in but it really does help.
