No don't give up. I've suffered from health anxiety for two years. You just need someone to help you through this. Reach out to a friend or a guardian. It's good to have a support system so you don't feel like you're going through everything alone! I'm also here if you need someone to talk to. My Snapchat is yeager_bomb18 feel free to message me anytime I know how bad it feels

Les,
Don't give up this isn't a battle that you can give up. This is something that you'll have to live with. I have struggled with anxiety for years the only way gets better is if you face it.
I refused to do this for years and it affected me in ways that I could not imagine, affected not only me, it affected my wife my children due to the behavior caused.
It wasn't until I faced this issue and sought help that things finally changed. Best advice I can give his to reach out for help whether that be talking with somebody and working through the problems, or maybe medication. There are plenty of different ways to deal with the anxiety but the only way gets better is to do just that to face it and deal with it.

No don't do anything that will not only hurt you, but hurt others around you. Think about everything you have accomplished in life, really GO OVER your thoughts, take a walk, get OUTSIDE. Breath fresh air, and ENJOY yourself. Nature alone can be theh best cure for anxiety.

You shouldn't even give up. Anxiety is not something that anyone would want to have, but you, me and everyone else on here has it, has to live with it and live the best way they can WITH it. There will be days when you'll feel like giving up, where you don't wanna face anything, go out and do anything and it's totally understandable.
BUT, hold on for the good days, the days when your anxiety doesn't bother you, or it's barely there, hold for the days where you see the sun shining a little brighter, where you get to walk out and enjoy the wonders of the nature, the fresh air. Cause there are going to be days like that, I PROMISE.
Anxiety has loads of fluctuations which is tiring indeed, but no, don't give up. Don't let it get to you. Accept it as a part of you and learn how to cope with it.
Please, don't give up! There is always hope somewhere.

I cannot deal with thinking I'm going to die everyday. All day today tight chest and tunnel vision without being able to concentrate. Why do I have all of this? I am not worrying about anything so why do I get all these symptoms? I'd understand if I was worrying about something but I'm not. It's not out the blue so what is going on

Hi Les171091,
I'm feeling the very same way. I just can't deal with it anymore. I've lost all of my friends and Even my Bible Study Group. I'm a burden to my husband and kids. Only the dogs love me and appreciate my company.
I try to be positive and live for the Lord, volunteer, give to others, help anyone who needs it, but I seem to drive people away.
I want to end it. I failed at life. But I can't. I can't let this win. I can't disappoint the Lord. I don't know why I'm here, but there has to be a reason why I'm here and there is a reason for you, too. We have a purpose. We are all living with this same illness which is just as disabling as any terminal illness we fear.
Unlike some others, my anxiety/depression gets so much worse at home. I'm great at work. I'm too busy to worry. Once I'm home it's horrible. My kids are in their rooms, my husband doesn't really talk much and he's a homebody, so I'm alone with my thoughts. My thoughts aren't pretty.
I have a therapist, but I don't see her until next week. Until then, I just have to keep going, please hang in there with me. I feel incredibly reassured by everyone on here.
God Bless all of you!

I dont have any magic cure or answers. I wish i did.i just know you cant drive out darkness with darkness so you have to have certain mindset to get yourself to a place where you can love yourself and trust the process of life. Â This is hard stuff to deal with. And this entire world needs to be more compassionate to each other.Â

You seem to be ok at home and you feel disociated when at work, do you think you are bored with what is going on or is it just your mind wanders and your eyes feel like you have tunnel vision.
I do not think this is anything serious, you are letting your mind wander, thinking about death, this is a major distraction and you are in your own dream world. Concentrate on your work.
How would you sort out the situation if you were going to die there and then. We have no way of knowing when we will die, it will just happen and that is it.
Live for the day and stop worrying

Unfortunately, it's not always that easy. If the anxiety is combined with OCD, you can't just think it away. You don't have control. We can keep busy and distract ourselves, but at least when it's quiet, it pops right back up. Thinking
" happy" thoughts just isn't that easy and r we wouldn't be having this discussion.

After I have been on this site I will normally listen to 60/70/80 music, that helps distract my mood, yes I unerstand how you do feel, I can be the same.
Distract your negativity, I also look at photographs of where I have been in the past, that helps me move on and relax.
With conditions such as Anxiety and depression we need to keep ourselves active in many ways. To dwell on negativity is counterproductive, although we still can be jaded and low.
I hope all works out with your condition, remember the best part of life is moving on and consider different positive activities to beat confirmed decisions
