Loss of feeling in bladder help.

I've been in full retention for many years and the bladder prolapsed 5 weeks ago although the test that gynaecology did, as it wasn't a manual test, pushed it to the side so he said it wasn't there. Since then I've been bleeding heavily but yesterday the feeling of the heavy weight has gone and I have no feeling that I need to pee. The mass is still sitting at the top of the vagina. I have a urethral stricture and the sphincter valve doesn't work which causes the retention. I was peeking upwards of 20 times in a 24hr period but I'm now forcing myself to sit on the toilet very few hours as usually I'm in agony within minutes of having a drink. I'm not sure if this loss of feeling is normal.

      Thanks Matron,

My blood results are in and by the sounds of it aren't good so I'll discuss it with the GP when he calls. Xx

      Thanks Marian,

I'm still waiting but I'm hoping the call will come soon. The GP due to call is the one who told me to get on with it all until I see the Urologist in London at the end of June. He left a severe UTI undiagnosed, along with other issues, so I'm guessing he's not in any hurry as he'll have to eat his words at this rate. Xx
