Loss of Fev1

Hello all, bit nervous not done this before. Diagnosed 5 yrs. ago with emphysema. Fev1 - lost 4 ml each yr. for 4 yrs. which is normal loss am told. This year lost 120 ml. Symptoms same. Seeing specialist - 4 months wait. Anyone any experience of this and what happens at appointment  please?

    no idea love sorry i have had chest infections pneumonia etc and now treating me for COPD even though i havent had any tests yet they said i cannot get tested with how poorly i still am i feeel like there no end to my problem this has been 5 weeks and feel no better now than day 1 i have constant tingling in my hands face and legs my ankles are swollen like balloons but i cant walk about because im too breathless i was told last Thursday could take around 3 more weeks to pick up a bit x

    You should get a letter from the department with information on.

    But if you search google 1st appointment with respiratory consultant nhs uk  (or replace nhs uk with the country, town you are living)

    I can only say from my own experience which may vary to what you may experience in the hospital you attend.
