Low Rumbling In My Head

The best way to describe this problem, is that it feels like there is a train or lorry rumbling towards me. It's horrid!! I have to gently pop my ears to stop it but seconds later, it will start up again. I've just been chatting to hubby, and couldn't answer him at one point as the rumbling was making me panic. After one of the times I popped my ears, I had that cold rush that seems to come from the centre of my chest and radiates out. It only lasts for a second or so but it's there all the same. I can go for months without the rumbling and then it starts up again. It really is frightening sometimes.

My ears have always been sensitive, certain roads with inclines give me pressure so I pop my ears to relieve it. Has anyone else suffered this and is there anything I could do to stop it?

I dot get the rumbling, but I get the whooshing and then it feels like my head is stopped up like I'm on an airplane. It does make me panic. If I can pop my ears that sometimes makes it feel better.

I dont get it all the time but when I do, it scares the daylights out of me. Hell, all these symptoms are frightening.

BB, i ve been sensing funny weird stuff in my head for more than a fortnight. i couldnt desribe it like you. I sometimes feel poundings that may match the heart beats too at that particular moment. Sometimes a throbbing, or fluttering of the grey matter, sometimes tiny bubbles bursting in the head. There would be pressure on the ears too. I had switched my BP med but after feeling these i went back to my old prescription like a scaredy cat.

the head things are really scary

almost all symptoms are related to anxiety and panic so if possible i think we should try the breathing exercises

    and/or distraction techniques

you will know its peri if it doesnt last 24/7 for two consecutive weeks- i like this formula

I like that formula. Mines doesn't last 24/7. It comes and goes. I thought it was my BP meds too, then I realized, I had the same feelings when I on a different BP med. Sooooo I'm putting it down to peri.
