Yes. I do get that every once in awhile. I thought I pulled or did too much at the gym, or slept wrong. But yes, I'm sure it's another peri symptom.

Hi Monique, try Epsom salts soaks. If you don't have a bathtub, put some in a bowl, I use about a cup, fill it with hot water and rub the water on your back and leg. You'll get relief after 2 days in a row, sometimes right away, it takes away all those pains you feel. I hope you try it, it will also allow you to sleep better at night. Hope this helps.

Forgot to mention don't wash it off, wait like 30 seconds to a minute before towel drying, then pat dry as oppose to rubbing it off. This should do the trick in relieving your pain.

Hi Monique.. This sounds exactly like my husband had a couple of years ago after too much heavy gardening, then carrying 5yr old grandson for too long, generally pusshing body too hard. He has a desk job. He was in so much pain it actually made him cry through pain and despair. MRI showed the spongy bit between discs had worn and was protruding onto the nerve.  The surgeon tried a spinal epidural block but this failed. Physio didnt help. The one thing that helped tremendously was the chiropractice. He helped adjust the spine over a number of weeks, with 3 visits per week, and gradually the pain moved from the ankle,, then the leg and finally the back. He was told to only sit on an upright chair, like a dining chair as comfy sofas don't support your back. And he was told to apply ice packs, wrapped in a towel, to his lower back every hour or so.. Physio says heat  packs but this increases inflamation. There's a lot of reasoning around chiro

    sorry didnt finish.....pressed wrong button!

Yes it would help to read up on the reasoning around chiropractice it makes a lot of sense to us and has helped us both with the aches and pains of getting older.

We both attend for monthly adjustments to keep on top of it. The only down side is we have to pay as it is classed as a complimentary medicine.

I hope you find some relief soon. Love and hugs x

Hi Monique   when I was diagnossed with MS 35 years ago i started getting Massages (especially on my legs)  every week or twice a  month.  With this leg pain you are experiencing which is the same as mine-i am going to my Massage Therapist once a week and doing core strenthen /yoga exercises every day -and sometimes not.The pain keeps coming back though but it does decease over time.  The massages help the mujscles to get the blood flowing an dair within the muscle/also i believe in england you can buy magnesium epsdom salts(I cannnot get them here in Canada) which the MS Soceity in Great Britain says to do for this problem.Hope this helps even a bit.
