Lump below knee - worried about what it is?

Hi, I'm a 33 year old female and last week noticed a lump underneath my left knee. It feels like bone and seems similar (in position) to the bone on the right-hand side but just larger/more protruding. I forgot about it, assuming it was a bruise, but when I was kneeling down tonight it hurt so I noticed it again and realised it hadn't gone.
Does anyone have any ideas what it may be? Am slightly concerned. The only condition I can see that comes up when searching online (excluding the big 'C' is Osgood Schlatter but that says it's pretty much exclusive to teens. It doesn't hurt unless I kneel in it. (Not sure if it's linked, but I had a baby in February).
Many thanks.
