MD ear fullness

Has anyone ever found a way to pop your affected ear...and if so does it help. A ENT told me that the ear didn't need to pop, but after an attack when my hearing is normal and the pressure is gone I can pop it all day long just by yawning. But once the pressure is there is no popping.

I think you're in the beginning stages of Meniere's Disease. I started out with fullness and ringing in my ear but it would go away for months at a time before it would come back. Then it became permanent and it came along with hearing loss and attacks of dizziness. Sorry to say this to you but i think eventually you won't be able to pop your ear.

Steroid Injections don't do anything for me. And Diuretics also have zero affects other than making me super lightheaded. Been working more with my diet.

I think you can only 'pop' your ear when there is an imbalance in the middle ear. The eustacian tubes help the air equalize there. Meniere's makes you feel ear fullness, but it is in the inner ear that there is too much fluid. It can't be 'popped'.

after awhile 5 years for me it doesn't really pop anymore...drinking lots of water keeps the fullness down for me but mine pops once in awhile on a plane and feels so damn good......I would like to see them develops some type of helmet that can emulate the cabin pressure in a plane and make it change...I swear it would help
