Menapause and the odd symptoms that come with it

Thank you Ann. I am getting ready to have a bunch of tests this week because I am concerned my symtoms are something worse. I had breast cancer in 2009, went through the chemo in 2010 (three treatments). I also have neck and back issues, bulged discs pressing on nerves. So that is not helping matters.  I will get the tests and then go from there. Thank you you again for your comment. I had the thyroid ultrasound and that was normal along with the extreme blood test for the thyroid, they came out good.

In addition to my last post, everything has been fine since 2010.

Hi I had 3 bulged discs in my neck, according to my MRI Scan year and a half ago.  I did yoga morning and evening - yoga for the neck, have a look on 'youtube'.  I did it religiously though, I did not miss a session. Guess what?  No pain for about a year.  No pain even if I do lifting and stuff that would have aggravated it, that didn't need to be much, sitting in a car for a couple of hours journey, for instance....try yoga, my love!

Thank you!  I bought a dvd for Yoga and I did it one time and at first I felt great and then about three hours later I was in severe pain. I am going for another MRI tomorrow and then I am scheduling physical therapy. I am going to try yoga again. I thought I was being very cautious, but maybe I over did it. I will give it another chance. Thank you again!

    Hi Patricia:

Your post is also my story.  Damage to my disc in the neck.  I am scared of Yoga because my body will not take lightly to different positions and bends.  I have survived cancer twice, cervical cancer and then lung cancer and I have never smoked.  It was a carcinoid tumor and a cyst that broke.  I was fortunate that there was no Chemo. or radiation in either case.  And then along came menopause.  You have come through some tough stuff, I only see the one post and do not know what you originally had to say.  What problems are you having that you need more tests?  Don't you get tired of the time it takes to do these tests and return for results.  I know I do, now its a bunch of guess work trying to have doctors figure out what will help.

You are brave, stay that way
