Hi I have been on hrt for 5 weeks now but don’t feel any better. Still feel so fatigued with dark circles under my eyes Anxiety low mood. Does it get better with hrt?

from what i have read and spoken to people... you should give iy 3 months before you decide.  Some feel better within weeks, others its takes a few months. For some it does not help at all, while others have to try a few different types of HRT before they find something that helps. Its different for everyone rolleyes

Hi cathy, it can take up to 3 months for some to get full benefit from hrt, it did me but it was worth the wait and you can help yourself with high strength menopause vitamin supplements, and b complex amongst other natural aids but check they don't clash with each other. XXX

Hi cathy,  yes it can take anything from 6 weeks as others have said everyone is different. Mine took around 6 weeks I found it very subtle! Some days I felt good then the next not so good. I can remember thinking I don't think the HRT was going to work? Then one day I felt great! Keep taking them see how you go. Good luck.

Yeah for me hrt made a huge difference but it takes time! If you will not find any improvement at the first months maybe you can try a different type or dose.

Hi Cathy, you probably need to get your HRT doses adjusted.  HRT is still kinda new as far has how much estrogen and progesterone is needed for each person and their symptoms. Talk to your doc and don’t wait so long next time, the stuff is supposed work pretty quickly.  Keep trying !xo

Didn’t see Vicki’s response. HRT works very quickly according to my doc. I use the skin cream bioidenticals. Hope we’re talking but the same HRT.
